A fearsome lady with a big stick gave me Thai acupressure massage lessons in Asia when I was in my early twenties. I had expressed an interest in the art and technique of bodywork and wanted to learn about its benefits. Sadly after those lessons, I never did make use of my new found skills.
Fast forward to years of working in the hospitality and transport industries in London, where I continued to nurse that desire to treat and heal. Faced with redundancy, I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, followed by a course in Deep Tissue Massage.
It is deeply gratifying to rediscover my passion and I aim to provide an empathetic, client-centred service that provides physical, emotional and psychological benefits. After all, who wants to pay for what often turns out to be an expensive moisturising session?
I am based in Grove Park, Lewisham SE12 in South East London which is easily accessible on the National Rail with direct trains running from London Bridge and Charing Cross.
